It's now been precisely one year since Dr P passed away. I've been thinking about her a lot lately, partially because of the anniversary and partly because of being so close to thesis submission, and having to write my acknowledgments. It's not easy finding the right words to say about someone who worked so hard, with so little time left, entirely for your benefit. Even tenses are proving a problem, since Dr F and I have very different opinions on the afterlife.
I don't believe she exists any more, save in how she's remembered. In case I'm wrong, though, I hope she likes this song, which always reminds me of her. Apologies for the crappy sound.
